“Warning : Flashbacks” was made using acrylic and house paints on a 16×20 canvas. This abstract painting was begun with the simple idea of creating desert colors-when that didn’t work out I had to let go and trust it would work out. My son came in the room and said, ‘Ha, that looks like an acid trip’ and I thought, dang, that’s perfect. (I didn’t ask how he knew that :-)
This is a great colorful addition to any room, and makes a great attention grabber. This is a 3/4” canvas so I think it’s best to find a stylish frame for it, although it can hang on its own, of course.
What kind of frame? Dark brown, light brown, distressed beige, white. How about red? All depends on your style and decor. But probably not black with this one.
